    WTB: 1978ish Radio

I know it's later than our typical stuff, but I'm trying all the forums.

I'm looking for the radio that would have been standard in my '78 930. It's a Blaupunkt cassette with no station presets, and 4 speaker outputs. Note that it says "Porsche" on the cassette door rather than Blaupunkt. Needs to be cosmetically perfect, but need not work.

I have a period Bamberg with tuner box and mic for possible trade.

    THanks,
    Lee

I am interested in the Bamberg, but I don't have anything to offer in trade.

Tom, send me a PM with your email, and if I find the right radio we can work something out on the Bamberg.

My plan is to have the radio updated with modern guts and an Ipod input (a guy n the UK does this). If i can find the one I'm after I'll use it - if not I'll just upgrade the Bamberg.

By the way, do you know exactly how the separate tuner module was mounted?

    Thanks,
    Lee
