    Shipping a car to Norway.

    I just sold one of my Porsches to a guy in Norway. This is the first time I have sold a car to an overseas buyer. What do I need to do or provide in the way of paper work for export? I`m in Los Angeles and the car will be shipping out from Long Beach.

    Anybody here delt with this and can give me some info?

    Just provide a title and bill of sale

    he should handle the rest.


    I sold one to Norway recently and they merely pick it up at my door!
    I just handed the paperwork and VOILA!

    Have the guy look into shipping to Sweden. A lot more (car) ctivity to that port, I guess better rates as well.

    i recently shipped a car from LA, and what was needed is the title, sale documentation, and also a photo.
    you might also need to have your name down as the "shipper" as it needs to be a US-based person. This initially caused a few headaches .. !

    I had mine shipped from door to door, Atlanta(California/Florida car) to Oslo. No problems at all. I can PM you the details if you like.
