I agree with PZuck..the 2s is more than enough...more fun to drive a "slow" car fast than a fast car slow.

    Turbo or Not

I owned a 97 Turbo which was great but I did not like the sound and the rear tires lasted barely 5000 miles.

definetly owe it to yourself to go Turbo I like this one!

    My pal's 98 Turbo S Targa
best of both worlds in this one of a kind built to Turbo S spec and its for sale!
I wish he didnt but he needs the cheeze...you know what I mean!

Seriously this car is no different in driveability than a C2S non-turbo and behaves the way you want it. super responsive and you neednt be very experienced....although once you punch it would be good if you were!

I am going to get together with him today and get the lowdown, but I wouldnt want him to give it away, I might sell something just to keep it in the family so to speak.

A 993 Turbo had always been on my list of must have cars. Especially after a couple of rides as passenger in them a few years back. But with some time in a N/A 993 as my daily driver and my experience of the early cars, once I drove PZucks TT I changed my mind.

Besides, not that I want to get into a debate again on this, my old modified Subaru WRX STI kicked harder than the TT. I'm over Turbo power and all about sweet super controllable naturally aspirated flat six power delivery. A GT3 of 996 or 997 persuasion would be more my thing now I think.
    Cheers,

    Steve
