How sad. I bet the old Blaupunkt was in the car when he bought it.

I can kind of understand people doing this back in the 80's but by 92' he should have known better.

Back in 87' I bought, my first Porsche, a 67' 911. I originally had similar plans for the car but after I bought I came to realize how much more attractive these 911s are in their original longhood form. I've been a longhood fan ever since.

This car could make a good backdate candidate. Sell off those turbo parts while people still want them. Finding good SWB rear quarters will be the challenge.

I've always considered the glass to be half full...that is until I reached middle age and realized that it is actually half empty.

    Hi Thom -
    I have a 2.6L - Basically a 66m crank with 92mm pistons and cylinders.
I'm not sure if this is what the second car has or if the owner is just a bit confused.
