    Porsche powered race cars/specials

I've been doing a little research into some of the 60's/70's race cars that used porsche engines (would love to get one one day...) and so far have found:

    Elva - Porsche
    http://www.elva.com/forsale/elva-70-030.html

    Bobsy - Porsche
    http://www.johnfry.com/pages/AndersonDonRacing06.html

Lotus (Supertech is rebuilding one at present)

    Pooper (Porsche - Cooper)
    http://www.partsobsolete.com/Outlaws/camerons53.htm

    Pupulidy

    Anyone know of any others?

    I'll add this to start:

    "1972 URD 676 / Porsche interseries sportscar

Also known as the EBS Spider, this car was built in Germany in the early 1970s to compete in the under 3 litre sportscar series and hillclimbs. Chassis is a URD and it is powered by a genuine 2.8 RSR engine ( ex Max Moritz 1973 Le mans car ) and driven through a 400 series Hewland gearbox. The car was sold by Moritz to the USA in 1979 and raced through the 1980s and 90s in SCCA and Historic events ( It was the feature article in the 1993 December edition of Excellence magazine )"

1970 Dulon built a Porsche powered Sports Racer numbered the LD11P. It was a one off for this UK based manufacturer who made it's claim to fame with Formula Fords and F5000 race cars. Small company owned by Bill Longely and Andy Duncan. Allan

    Here's Dave White's KMW ...

I saw it on one of my trips to Florida... it was SUPER cool...

He told me he got it from a German Auto Transportation Museum... then restored it ... then raced the wheels off it ...

It ran a 3 liter RSR motor...

I believe he sold it a few years ago...

    Cheers,

I believe that Gary Emory had one for sale last summer at the time of his camp out (August 2006). I had never heard of them or seen pictures of them either. He might have it still! I think the asking price was around $180 US.

Hello: How about the Fabcar GTP light cars. I believe there are also some other sports racers that were one offs as well. Hope this helps. Thanks, Eric
