Upgrade benifit to 69+ front suspension on 67

I'm at the point in the resto of 67 911S and I need to make decision to upgrade to later or not. Original engine/transaxle are pulled and stored, 2.5 and T/A with Quaife and JOS gears going in. Car will be street driven (hard) and occassional DE's. Having never really pushed a SWB with early front suspension would the benifit of updating be worth it? My 66 vintage race car was updated when built so I know what that feels like, 'GOOD'. I have a complete front later S set up with alloy calipers + S rear calipers also upgrading to duel master cylinder. I'm not doing anything to the car that will make it difficult if I choose to take it back to stock. Input appreciated.

I have no problem with the theory that all men are created equal.
But after that moment you are on your own and nobody owes you a damn thing.

The biggest advantage is the modern pinch bolt for the strut and the availability of comparatively cheap replacement parts, including decambered ball joints.
