    Question 71 911 T at Victory Motorcars

    Hi,

I' m from Munich, Germany and new in this forum. I' m interested in this signal green 1971 911 T and wonder if anybody has additional information on it:

    http://victory-motorcars.ebizautos.c...t-1578850.html

It is also offered on cars.com at 26K, which sounds quite reasonable to me. What irritates me is that it is described as "numbers matching" but has a 2.4L engine (it should be a 2.2L ?!).

    Thanks in advance,
    Markus

    Markus,

A friend bought a car from Victory and told me to stay away from them. Granted, it could be a one time bad deal but you can never be too careful (especially on a long distance purchase).

I bought a car from Victory, admittedly not an early car, a low mile 993 and the deal was all good.
    Cheers,

munich- Good luck on your search.
FWIW, I "spoke" (email) with Victory about a car they had on ebay, and found their
anwers to be not only evasive, but just plain rude. I swore at that time I'd
never do any business with them.
