    901 Gearbox External Lubrication Kit

    Hello,

Does anyone have any idea if someone produces a 901 gearbox external lubrication kit like that shown on Armano's website, particularly those pieces shown in the oil lines section which mount on the case? I've spoken to him and also Bernie, who's installing it on his case, who suggested that I try to locate a reproduction kit prior to getting one fabricated. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Hello:The easiest thing to do is use a electric pump to lube the gearbox. Install squirters using AN fittings and -4 lines. You will have to make a manifold to supply all the gears and ring/pinion. Hope this helps. Thanks Eric

    Bill,

Talk to Chuck Moreland at Elephant Racing. He (and I) are working through the process of finding the best solution (technical and economic). His application is a Type 911 transmission in a later 911 race chassis. Mine is a Type 911 transmission in a 914-6 race car. Both are applicable for your use.

There are several serious threads about this on Pelican.

    Best,
    Grady
