A complete MFI S core has got to be at least $4000 alone. $2500 for sport seats, $1500 for the wheels, another $1000 in misc parts and then sell the stripped S tub, probably another $1000. You're at 10K right there.
The winner of the auction got a hold of my email thru the seller and offered to sell it after going thru hell to get it across the border.
You see the seller was trying to avoid Canadian taxes so both were in hot water under threat of seizure and impound!!
He managed to take possession and is now in NY state where he probably threw up to see how bad this car really was.
So now he claims he has found a better car to build and wants to sell it for.....get this $10K...he must be reading from these posts!

I do read the boards and I'm an Early S Registry member. The $10k figure was given to me by the Canadian -- he said he had two offers after the auction ended for that price. If you recall I said that the number was only a loose starting point and that I am open to offers.Originally Posted by EARLY911ZOO

I do appreciate your offering to pass my info on to anyone who may be interested. It's a matching numbers car as well, just for info.
