380mm steering wheel - help.

I want to fit a 380mm steering wheel to a 73s, I understand its smaller in diameter than the standard one. I have found a second hand 380mm wheel, however seller tells me it comes from a 1976 914 (?). Seller also tells me it will fit and is the same as the RS wheel. Part's number is # 914 347 087 10. Will and post a pic of the wheel for sale. I understand that the wrong wheel even though it can look the same has a lot of issues to fit with the turn signal ring.




Any advice welcome, before I part with my cash.

There are some issues with the turn signal ring, but if I remember correctly it's just a matter of drilling 2 holes on the regular 911 ring and that solves it.

If the photo you have posted is the wheel you are thinking of buying, it appears to already have the two countersunk holes for the turn signal cancel ring. See those two at 10 and 4 oclock? If you currently have a 400 mm stock wheel, the turn signal cancel ring can be swapped to this wheel.
