Please help: need picture of floor bracket for battery strap

    Hi,
As my 97 911 had an accident at some point after which a part of the nose section was replaced, the bracket/lip on the floor that the battery strap attaches to is missing. Can someone please send me a picture of this so that we can reproduce it?
    Thanks!
    Anthony

I too would really like to see how the battery strap is attached to the floor. And also the other end behind the battery.

The front area around the tank has been replaced in my car, and no new holes have been drilled for new battery straps. Is drilling required, or do the straps mount to a bracket?

    Thanks in advance!

My '67S has had the front pan replaced, so I am not positive if this is totally original, but here is a pic of the bracket w/ hole on the trunk floor next to the battery tray, where the hook end of the strap attaches, as well as a poorly focused pic of the sheetmetal hook on the inside fender wall behind the battery where the loop end of the strap attaches.

    67 battery hold down

here are a few images from my 67. I am disappointed in the images. I shot them with a borrowed camera in the dark. I will take better images this weekend if you need them. I am also looking for images of the washer pump and washer tank location for a 67. Any help would be appreciated. tom
