68S targa on rennlist for $150k

soft window targa, 86k original miles, 2k miles since resto.
    nice car.
    but $150k?

I think this puts an end to talk about targa's not being more valuable as time goes on :-)

As these numbers show, the 68S targa is the LOWEST PRODUCTION EARLY LONG NOSE S car made. Then add to the fact they were not imported to the U.S., most stayed in Europe, and rusted away. Now add a low mileage, Great color combo, many unique options, over 150 people saw the car at the RGruppe event this year, and everyone thought it was STUNNING, restored by Rick Cabell, who most on this board know how well he restores cars, and in most price books, the soft window has a 20% premium over any othe car, sounds to me like it may be underpriced If someone knows of another car like this for less money, I would love to hear about it. And, it would only cost about 102,000 euros, so it sound like a deal from that view point. And, I am the one who put the 2,000 miles on it, so I know just how well it does drive, as does Jens Moller, who also put a lot of miles on it at the Rgruppe event

Eade, it does look fabulous, and my surprise at pricepoint was more my ignorance of market at upper levels.
    Targa's rule.
Hopefully someone on east coast will buy so we can admire in person.
