Oil Tank Baffles and Remote Cooler ???

I'm comtemplating the install of a later SC baffled oil tank and a right front fender cooler on my 67S. But I don't want to cut up the virgin right rear fender of my car to fit the later style tank I have. And I'm not really excited about running the oil lines up the side of my car.

That being said, what other options are out there, successfully being used? Does someone have any ideas on baffling an early tank?? I remember someone (Windward??) used to advertise in Pano that they baffled early tanks.

What other cooler options are being used out there? I've seen a couple of posts with links to cars with a remote oil cooler right in front (behind) the engine cooling fan. What's up with that, it looks counter intuitive to me, as more weight back behind the wheels and the fan is pulling hot(ter) air into the engine to cool itself..

    Any thoughts appreciated..

I believe Smart Racing Products will modify and expand oil tanks. Either early or late style.
