When did the 73S get 7R cases instead of 4R/5R cases? I have engine number6330398 in my 73S and the case is a 4R/5R.
Any other info from members with builddate and enginenumbers would be apreciated.

The original case on my 12/72 build date 1973E is a 7R/7R, and it has not been apart. I have not been able to confirm definitively when Porsche stopped using the 5R cases - most people think it was in the early spring of '73, but there seem to be several cars with 7R cases from December '72 or January '73.

My car has chassis number 9113300437, and the invoice says 721001. Its a 1973 model. A total of 1430 cars where built for model year 73. Probably built in ?
Another strange thing from the original dealer invoice: Typ 911534 911S Coupe. What is the "typ" number?
The reason I ask is that I am considering buing a unstamped 7R case for the car. Would stamping it with the original engine number be considered correct? And if so who could stamp it with the correct numbers?

In addition you will likely never find the correct dyes to stamp it correctly. OTOH it does make sense to buy the blank case in the event you break your current motor or you want to build a wicked hotrod motor on a stronger 7R case.
