    FS 1971 911E Targa Silver/Black

Chassis number 9111210115 is a rust and accident free, matching numbers Targa. Garaged its entire life, this is a three owner (including us) 911E. We have all service records, Owner's Manual, Maintenance Record, Toolkit, Jack, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, etc. for this very nice Porsche. We'd rate this a 4 (out of 5) driver. The chrome is very nice and the car is unmolested, always properly maintained by Porsche experts. The car was repainted some time ago its original 8010 silver. This 5 speed Porsche can be driven as is or would be an easy restoration to show standards since it is so straight and dry. Mileage is around 150,000 or less. Naturally, the hydropneumatic front suspension was converted some time ago. The car has its original Fuchs wheels and as been updated with pressure fed Carrera chain tensioners. Of course, it has its original MFI. Price is $25,500 Price reduced to $24,000 on 6/27. We are a private party and located in Silicon Valley area. Please ask any and all questions. This is a great car! Car is located 10 minutes from San Jose, CA airport. I'll pick anyone up who'd like to see it. Email direct to DrRSR@aol.com

    Nice photos...nice car...

    Allen,
Nice photos of a nice car - best of luck with the sale.

Question: among the many hats I wear, is that of a vintage camera dealer...

What lens were you using on those detail shots?? (the door pockets, interior, etc) Judging from the distort, it seems like a 22mm? or is it even shorter than that? I'm curious...

    Cheers
    Thom

PS - anyone into vintage cameras? check out my Speed Graphic 4x5, currently on fleabay...now, back to our regular programming.

    Hi Tom,

Thanks for noticing my photos. Regarding the wide angle shots, they are more than that. Not vintage I am affraid: an EF 15mm f2.8 "fisheye," Canon with an EOS 20D.

    Price reduce

to $24,000. Would someone on the list, or related, please buy this nice car before I have to put it on eBay? I've had some good bites but no offers. Original listing (top of this page) will be edited to reflect new price, reduced from $25,500. Thanks.

Looks like a heck of a deal to me, especially seeing what "junk" cars are bringing these days! This one is a buy! No affiliation.

    Hi Allen,
Sent you a pm a few days ago and never heard back?
Where are you/the car located ?

    San Jose CA area

    Garth,

I checked my sent PMs and I did respond (one reason, personally, I much prefer direct email: DrRSR@aol.com) on Sunday. Thanks.

I've edited my "ad" to include San Jose location!

    Allen,

Put it on ebay with a buy-it-now price and watch it sell within a couple hours.

I haven't seen the car in person, but it appears to be the answer to all those who say you can't find a clean, no-stories car for a reasonable price.

    Good luck with the sale.
