help needed: installing an amps instrument

    Hi,
Got an amps instrument for the dash to show the generator output.
I had to realise that the installation instructions do not apply to Porsche.
Does anyone have some advice on how this should be hooked up to show generator output?
    Thanks!

A pic (or a link) of the instument and its dimensions would be helpful.
