Car number and production date - Help!

    Hi, does anyone have a 1970 2,2 S with a number close to #1675?
I've already asked Posche AG about my car's production month, but I was told it may take a while... so, meanwhile, I need to find some "Deep" Fuchs wheels that match the car's month.
So, I was kind of hoping to find here, some car with a close VIN number and get an aproximate production month. Thanks!

    Car number and production date

    Vasco,

Mine is #1227, with a production date of 1 April 1970.
    Hope that narrows your search.

    All best,

Just a note... the earliest production date I have personally seen on a flat fuchs is 5/71. The earliest I have heard of but can't verify is 4/71.

    regards,

With a total of 1744 S-coupes for 1970, 1675 is probably within the two last production months(June/July).

    not an S...

...but my 911T coupe has a production date of 23 Juni, 1970 with 911 010 1881 as the VIN. My car was ordered with "option #400 alloy wheels." Deep sixes came with that car.

    Hope that helps. Shawn.
