Is Leaf green the same colour for 69, 70-73?

Hi,

I have decided to paint a car leaf green based on a colour chip from the 66-67 code 62163 and in the 68-69 colour chart, code 6830. I like this colour as it is very period and also quite a pail colour.

Doing some research I have also seen some 72-73 in leaf green, code 7710 targa and 7777 coupe. I have colour chip 7777 in my 70-71 colour chart but it seems much darker than the 69 version.

Are they 100% the same colour from 66-73

I have color charts from 6/68 which is 62163 (probably 67 and 68 given the colors inside), 7777 and 7710 from 1970, and the same for 1972, and they are truly the same.

I also have an old Glasurit book, and color code 6830 cross references to 7770, 7710, and 62163 with the same color chip.

Hi,

I have a 72T that is originally leaf green and the color code is 218. When I ordered the paint I immediately noticed that right out of the can it was way too yellow, so we matched it to the original paint on the sunroof and under the trunk area. I would say my car is dead on, or as green as it was leaving the factory. It really is a great color.
