    Question Radio option Kardex question

    Hi

I note that in the Kardex and COA my car has loudspeakers as options, but not radio. Is that usual? Does it mean that radios were not optional but standard equipment and radio delete is the option?

    Sorry for the stupid question.

P.S. What is the difference between Blaupunkt Frankfurt and Blaupunkt Hamburg?

I have seen on several Kardex sheets "Antenne, Lautsprecher" and indeed no radio mentioned. Makes me think that the dealers installed the radios.

Good one, mine has "lautsprecher" but no "antenne" too, but my car definitely has an antenna. Maybe as you say it was a factory addition.

Yeah, I bought your Hamburg. I'm just trying to find out the difference - surely it's not just the AM/FM difference.

I was just trying to be coy for the rest of the yahoos here!

Well, both the Hammy and the Frankie are Mono. Both have presets (the Frankie has AM and FM presets. Maybe other differences?....Not talking of the US versus Euro bands.

Anyone know of a Frankfurt in AM only? I think there is a Frankfurt Stereo as well as the Mono.
