    who sells the finned aluminum gas cap?

    I did a search here and pelican and cannot find the threads with the guy that is making repro aluminum caps
    appreciate the help

    Finned Gas Cap Source

    Dave,

    Martin Baker on this board is a supplier and does great work at a reasonable price. He will also work with you on custom finishes. Hope that helps.

    Are you really looking for aluminum caps? All the repros mentioned in this thread are plain steel or polished stainless steel, I believe. I'm not aware of any being made in aluminum.

    Aluminum caps are indeed rare. Here is one with a home made fin.

    It sounds like TRE needs to manf. a short production run of finned, drilled Aluminum caps...
