    65 911: 300890 , 68S engine

    Currently on eBay.

    This is a very early 65, but according to the number 4080282 does it have a 68S engine? It seems to have a correct red fan shroud and may be IDS as well?

    No affiliation, etc. but at the current $6500 an attractive opportunity for a fellow listmember?

    The owner/brokers name is Boris. Some Porsche folks in the San Diego area tried on several occasions to go and inspect the car. Boris kept avoiding them and finally refused any inspection of the car to potential bidders.

    Something was very suspicious with this seller.

    I, for one, tried to arrange a viewing of the car by emailing the seller and never received a response. Sold for $8403, according to the auction, to a user "crabetambour" who also recently bought tickets for a concert in Paris, so this looks like another early car going to Europe.
