Very nice! This picture brought back memories of a 1966 that a friend of mine had in Germany. We traveled many miles in that car. Does this car still have the original twin overhead cam 4 cyl.? This Guilia could really handle with koni shocks but a bit under-powered. Could easily cruise the autobahn at 140 km/hr. in 5th gear.

I have always had a very soft spot for Alfas. A neighbor up the street has a Giulia that is close to Porsche's Albert Blue, very original and clean. The scallop along the sil is such a cool detail on these cars, even sedans (!) look sporting and aggressive.

This is one I stumbled across in Amsterdam... Minilites look great on any car!

Very nice, Brad. I, too, have a soft spot for Alfas. Those minilites look great. The car originally came with steel wheels. These cars looked soooo boxy and were very tall. It was truly amazing how these cars would hold the road! Thanks for the memory.

Hi David, this puppy has an upgraded 1750 motor with webers and mild cams.
Back in 1965, Alfas already had twincam, twin webers, 5 speed and 4 wheel disc brakes and the Guilia sedans were among the most aerodynamic cars of the era.

Here is the arguably fastest early Alfa 4 door on the West Coast...

Fabrizio Ramicci's Super runs out of his father Santo's shop in the San Fernando Valley in SoCal...

Fabrizio, and his older brother Anthony in his GTV, are some of the fastest Alfa 'shoes' around...

Take it from this old Alfa guy ... these cars and young guys fly ...

    Cheers,

    Thumbs up

    Chuck -

Thanks for the beautiful photos. As usual, you come through with knowledgeable information and photos of both the present and past in special automobiles.

Chuck thanks foir the update on Fabrizio.

My second daughter and he went through school (K-8) together. We lost track of him when their paths diverged going to different high schools.

He was a good kid and liked my old 911... Glad to see he's become such a hotshoe.
