Can anyone recommend a shipping company?

A gent in Texas has expressed interest in my race car - can anyone recommend a company in the US who can organise shipping from the UK to the US and deal with the importation process in the US for him?

    Many thanks in advance

    hi philip
i don't know if this is any help to you, but i used www.cfrline.com last year and the service was very good and they handle all the paperwork. they shipped from california to rotterdam for me but they do other destinations also.
i'm bringing another car in from california right now, this time i am using
    http://www.schumachercargo.com/
as it was slightly cheaper this time directly to copenhagen for me with them. i can give you a report after the arrival.

Paul - many thanks for your advice - exactly what I was looking for I've forwarded the details on to the interested guy so we'll see what happens.

    Many thanks again

    call your local porsche

something that's worked for me a couple of times is to call the local porsche dealer. they usually have a relationship with a shipper and it sort of ensures the shipper's route is close.

i referred a buyer to http://horselesscarriage.com/ and it worked out fine.
CA to Maryland $1650, covered obviously.
