    Supertrapp Muffler

    Has anyone got experience of these??

    These were attempted on a factory RSR ('74 w/ 3.0 ltr) using the straight megaphones with the SuperTrapp's on the end to meet noise restrictions at Laguna Seca. The experiment failed.

    I have used them on a Vintage 2.0L 911

    I keep a set of Supertrapps on the race transporter for my 2.0L 911 Vintage racecar. They have been fairly effective at dropping the db levels at tracks where they have a limit. I beleive we have been able to meet 92-94 db level requirements with them on without even using the discs. I have also tried to substitute them for the factory megaphones on my '75 RSR 3.0L without much success when we were at Limerock for the 1st Rennsport reunion.
