It was a great event at Mosport last weekend. A few nice early 911s and some awesome other vehicles.

Great shots AT. How did you get the blurred effect. I have always wondered that.

    Thanks, Chuck. Makes sense.

Francois, I really love the look of your car. It has just the right stance and the paint job is really classic. I may have a couple others of you. If you're interested in prints send me a PM. You have to see them bigger. When is the event at Tremblant?

The technique for the blur is a bit hit and miss. You have to shoot a lot of frames for a couple good ones, slow shutter speed, zoom and pan while the shutter is open. Being close to the track helps a lot too, what ever lens your using. Nothing beats being close. And that's getting trickier all the time without credentials. Mosport used to be pretty good but this year they've put up new catch fencing in some of my favorite spots. Definitely a good move for safety but sucks for photos.

Okay. So Rainer picked up a couple little tricks from me along the way. I won't hold it against him.

See what I mean about getting closer though. Nothing beats getting close to the action.

And Rainer IS the king, by the way. I think he's been doing it for longer than I've been on the planet.
