    911E in Maryland

The pictures show the car to be a T, not an E, according to the VIN plate.

    Eric and others,

I would presume we should have separate threads for discussion on cars listed here so as to keep the 'sticky' threads cleaner...

Just curious. Fantasy Junction has this car on Ebay right now. looks very nice, but is this a sporto conversion????http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...t_47546wt_1167
Seller does not mention anything about it, but there is a manual in the photos specifically for sporto's.

I contacted Fantasy Junction. Here is the response...

"None of the three owners have changed the engine, so it should be original. The engine and s/n are in the listing, so please feel free to check them out. We think that in that year all the manual sets came with a sportmatic book."

I'll leave it to the Porsche Literati to comment on the manual sets.

    Best,
