Strip it and you have part of a T tub and an engine that needs work.
Value = $10,000 max. The market will smack this guy in the face.
Only a T so who cares? I'm sure there are plenty of people who own Ts and care about them, I'm one of them.

    Cheers,

    Harry.

    Cheers,

    Harry.
That was not what I meant. I own, and have owned, a few T's. I love my T's. Much better value than the E and S.
I meant that this particular car is a T and not much of one, whatever is left of it.

    1973.5 Porsche 911T Coupe - $209000 - SF bay area (not mine)

...not mine, no affiliation. Might be the highest asking price for a T I've seen.

    Seller's ad:
San Francisco Sports Cars is honored to offer this amazing 1973 1/2 Porsche 911T for sale. A CIS injected Porsche 911 T coupe in silver with black interior and 26k original unrestored miles! The mid-year 1973.5 911 models are distinctive for being the last of the 'long hood' 911 body style before impact bumpers altered the shape forever in 1974. 1973.5 T models are also unique from 1972-73 cars as they feature CIS fuel injection instead of mechanical fuel injection or MFI.

This incredible "time warp" car was in a top flight collection for 30+ years when she first graced our doors in spring of 2014. We quickly found a buyer for this special car and now a year and a half later she is back in our showroom again having travelled only 15 miles since!

With just under 27k miles from new, this car may be the most pristine example in the world. The Silver Metallic paint and Black leatherette interior are believed to be original. The 2.4L engine is numbers matching and original, same with the transmission and date coded Fuchs wheels including spare. The original radio and speakers are present. The 3 changes on the car that we know of are headlight units which were swapped out for the sleeker European Bosch lights and slimmer chrome rings years ago, modern tires and the front end has been wrapped in clear vinyl protection. Needless to say, we believe that there are not many nicer or more original cars for sale anywhere at the moment.

This beautiful T was gone over front to back by the world famous air cooled specialists at "The Stable" in San Francisco, they claim it is one of the most amazing cars of this vintage they have ever worked on.

Asking Price: USD 209,000 obo. Leasing and finance options are available - trades are gladly considered.

Wow that IS high. I think that car has been for sale there for quite some time or one very similar with low mileage, and was discussed here.

Up for sale in a great, solid restoration candidate.

73.5 T Targa matching number car.

One of the lowest production runs as this was only out for 1/2 a year (around 1500 units).

The cars original color code is a rare aubergine.

The car is on its way to being ready for body work, with part of the interior being disassembled. Interior/seats/door panels/dash are in great shape

The vehicle has been in storage for awhile, but previous owner had it running a few years ago.

Complete, body is in great overall shape, targa has been redone.

Paint, a tune up and you have a great car! These rarely come up, especially in Canada

    99k miles
COA on order (but confirmed #'s from Porsche)

Wheels are from a later Porsche.

    Located in central BC.

If you are a serious buyer, you know where the market is on these. Email me for more info/pics and can make me an offer and see what we can do.

I don't know the car but it's been on eBay for awhile. The 65K ask is interesting because at least one of the eBay auctions ended at over 70K with no sale. If it were me I would definitely lay hands on the car and get a PPI performed by a respected mechanic. Good luck.
