With the caveat that I am just judging the car based on the photos; it appears to be a very nice example of an original, unmolested '72T. Obvious a personal inspection would be required as well as maintenance history on the engine. What major engine wear points have been serviced, or rebuilt; valves, MFI, etc.? I don't know how impacted specialty car sales are due to the pandemic, but it appears to be a motivated seller with further price negotiation possible?

As Doug notes, all I can see are pictures and their description. But looked at with my recent experience of refreshing my own '72T, I'd say that it does appear to be a nice example, but I do have some areas of concern. One is their claim of 245HP from the 2.7 MFI motor. Seems optimistic to me. Dealer exaggeration?

Neither the sport seats nor the S-bumper on the front are listed as original options, but are nice upgrades anyway.

There are also several areas where there was a lack of attention to detail. For example, the radio looks correct at first glance, but is not a US-band radio. They replaced the paint code plate, but left it blank? Or installing and hooking up the intake warm air flapper without having the proper late-MFI style left heat exchanger, with the warm air tube just routed near the exhaust instead of to a correct secondary heat exchanger. The right side of the engine grill looks to be held together with pop rivets, and the grill doesn't appear to fit well at the bottom center. The wipers are poorly adjusted, parking way too high on the glass.

But to be honest, none of this would keep me from buying this car if I was in the market and physical inspection and PPI was acceptable. But I would want to get more info on the engine build.

Last, the price is definitely on the high end for a T, in my opinion. It better turn out to be as good or better than it looks at that price level.

Just my thoughts and opinions. For what they may be worth...

Thank you both very much. It’s kind of complicated when you’re a novice. Every old car seems to have weaknesses.

Randy, it might be best if you post a WTB (wanted to buy) ad, stating what you are looking for, and budget, and where you are located etc. There are nice cars that appear, and plenty of knowledgeable folks willing to share their insight.
You have the upper hand, in an economic climate such as today's, with cash in hand burning a hole in your pocket :-)
