Currently in between Porsches. Sold my 73.5T Targa, now suffering from serious withdrawal symptoms. Attending Rennsport Reunion VI didn't really help getting over it.

Manufactured in March 1973, this 911 T was ordered in the wonderfully vibrant and era-evoking color scheme of Viper Green (code 3838) with brown leatherette and houndstooth cloth upholstery. Equipped for the US market, it was optioned with a five-speed manual transaxle, Dunlop tires, and the Comfort Package (code M470).
As recorded in the 911’s maintenance book, this car was sold new via Will Dennis Porsche + Audi to its first owner, Charles Slessman of Clyde, Ohio. In July 1979, the Porsche’s second owner, Mike Sutter of Norwalk, Ohio, sold the 24,700-mile car to Norman Henry Wuestefeld of Clinton, Connecticut.
A successful transportation engineer, who served as an executive and board member for various engineering societies, Mr. Wuestefeld was a typically fastidious Porsche owner who entrusted a local specialist, M. Haines Ltd., to carry out routine maintenance throughout his ownership. After Mr. Wuestefeld passed away in 2001, ownership of the 911 transferred to his children and the car has been kept in static storage since.
Recently acquired by the consignor, this 911 T is a most exciting find, as it remains in highly original, unrestored condition and has covered less than 75,000 miles from new. The paint appears largely original, the interior is well kept (with the exception of the cloth on the driver’s seat), and the car retains its original brightwork and glass. Charming details include a selection of college decals on the rear window and the factory-supplied Dunlop SP57 tire remains in place on the February 1973-dated spare. Both the engine and transaxle numbers correspond to factory production records, and while not currently in running order, it will be an ideal candidate for a preservation-minded mechanical recommissioning.
Accompanying the sale are the original owner’s manual, stamped maintenance book, Porsche + Audi dealer directory, Blaupunkt radio literature, and leather key fob. Also included is a copy of the Porsche production record, service records dating back to 1978, and various State of Connecticut Vehicle Inspection Reports.
A rare, late-production 911 T, presented in its spectacular original colors and fresh after four decades of single family ownership, this Porsche ought to appeal to any collector with an appreciation for well-preserved, unrestored sports cars.
*Please note that this vehicle has been in long-term static storage and may not be currently operational. It will require mechanical attention prior to road use.

Am I missing something? It sat for 6 months at 98k and now it is 120k? Did something change with it?(outside of the perceived market inflation?)
