Wow I'm going to try to look at that tomorrow. I have a meeting in Torrance, hopefully it will still be around.

Some people need to learn how to Google... you would assume that if they know how to post on Craigslist, they should know how to Google for car prices, unless it is a scam...

New Craigslist tactic: if it's a deal you want, and you don't want a larger bidding war, flag the ad and make it disappear...

I emailed the listing (and subsequent re-listings) several times to no avail. If it is a scam, he's not trying very hard to get a deposit.

I've been in contact with him. Legit seller.

He emailed me and now wants $20,000...so it jumped 300% in price in a week! I can see why the ad was flagged.

" Here are my terms: I'm asking 20K or Best Offer. Cash Only (No Checks, Money Wiring, Deposits, Half Now Half later, No Exceptions). Can arrange private viewing this weekend. Let me know if you're still interested. If we work out a deal we take a trip to your bank, withdraw cash, and I hand over the Pink Slip. Can send more pics.
    Thank you for your patience."

I got the same email. $20k is what I edited out of my post. I think I should clarify "legit seller". I only meant it doesn't feel like a scam.
Seems like he found market value the lazy way, creating a bidding war. Tactics are questionable but I can't really blame the guy.
