    When M3's Attack

This is an unbelievable vid from the Dutch Supercar Challenge. This car (an e36 M3 I believe) simply dispatches everything else on the track, including several Porsches. The shriek of the straight-cut gears will make you deaf. This guy just puts on a clinic:

    Thumbs up

    PERFECT !!!

Wonder what started him that far back on the grid...

BTW - I'm assuming it was a he...

The gears they chose seemed just about right....WOW...
Wouldn't be cool if OUR old cars would shift that quick...

He also had MUCH more brakes (or ability, or both) then everyone else...

I was almost glad to see that the closer to the front, the (somewhat) more challenging it was to pass...

BTW - A lot of the his 'competition' were full-race Marcos's

    GREAT VIDEO CURT !!!!!!!!!

    Cheers, and thanks

From what i can tell, this is the car. Which makes it an e46 M3. Check out the front camber!

That sequential box makes me long for my old SMG M3.

Holy Crapski Curt, nice stuff! Chuck, the first thing I thought of too, is that the car has huge brakes to be trusted that well. wow.... and the sound! Great performance.

I've never seen a car so dominate the field. Like it was racing in a lower class. Was it?

Holy sh--! That car is insane fast, not to mention an extremely talented driver. Those sequential gearboxes are the bomb! The first time I drove one was in the Skippy School Advance Racing course at Laguna. Totally different than shifting double declutch down shifts (like I do as a matter of habit). Old school, I guess. As evidenced by the vid, you can bang down through about 3 or 4 gears in a nanosecond. Very cool feeling. That whine would be deafening though. I'll bet he had good ear protection.
