    Midwest'R in Durango, CO

Scott Hansen of Oak Park, IL (t6dpilot) was in town yesterday, arriving in his father's beautiful 911 cabriolet. Every 4th of July Scott vacations at his family's home in Telluride (100 miles from Durango by hwy, 50 miles by plane
Scott & I have been talking about getting together for a few years now.

We spent a few hours doing some spirited driving, talking Porsche's & trading steering wheels...Scott piloting the green machine down the twisties on County Road 250 here in the Animas Valley. We drove some of the same roads that those attending the Tour de Colorado in 2 weeks will get to drive !

Scott, it was a pleasure meeting you ! Hope to see you next 4th of July

I wonder what the weekly Midwest RGruppe rates are on the summer cottage?

Hey, I know that guy. Shady character if you ask me! Don't let him drive your car or it might be missing the next day.

Yeah Curt, I think we should do that in all seriousness. I mentioned that during one of your posts about the targa ski rack with requesit vintage skiing photo. Skiing can be an "off Porsche season" activity for us Midwest early guys. And yes, I am sure I can figure a way to accomodate a few of the Midwest guys in T-ride.

Chris, great to meet you and thanks again for the drive in your pretty car. The Midwest crew has to make a trip to SW CO for some great driving roads.
