ALMS Lime Rock, July 7th 2007

Went to Lime Rock for ALMS.
Jim_Garfield, despite many calls and phonetag between us, the crappy cell phone reception at LR conspired to make sure we did not meet. Sorry about that, as it was last minute thing for me to go up, and should have planned in advance.
Jim (Greens) nice meeting again at Lime Rock ... and the Sam Posey/Skip Barber interviews/QnA were very interesting to listen to ... thanks for pointing me that way.
Now to find $100k to become a member of "the club @ LR" - membership good for 50 yrs

Some good racing ... my camera battery died before i got up so i was left with cameraphone ... and as i was "roaming" and taking pics, i only got a few pics... phone battery died also ... but it was a case of RS's r'us
plus some 02's ... a granada 02 in great shape and one that was primered for work ...
Jol, heard you coming in with the RS, (i was going to the car to get my sun screen, good red-haired irishman that i am
but never saw any familiar faces other than Jim's.
    Well worth going to.

    Karl.

Hey Karl - that was very frustrating being at LR and not being able to get together due to the lousy reception. After three weeks of my computer being in for repair, Apple tech threw in the towel and gave me a new computer. I'm just looking through three weeks of posts. I'll give you a call.

Incidentally my dad got a G3 ibook, 3 years ago, and after 3 repairs to motherboard, Apple threw in the towel and gave him a new macbook. he's delirah with it.

Talk to you soon, and hope you got good pics

    Karl.
