    WTB: 1972-74 915 Transmission...7:31 version

    Looking for a used 1972-74 915 Transmission-this is the one with the 7:31 Ring/Pinion final drive. Would consider one that has a cracked/damaged case, but also would not be opposed to a nicer one. Let me know if you have one you might want to sell.

    How many do you need?

    You need gearsets or just the case?

    Marco , two would be ideal for the next 6 months...

    I need the ring/pinion at least, the 4th/5th ratios and it never hurts to have some spare old dogs, sliders, etc. Don't need the case terribly badly, but...it does simplify things to just buy a whole transmission at once.
