Smile Replacing all front bushings on 73 E

All the front bushings on my 73E are original. I bought Turbo tie-rods and figure I should replace all the front bushings while I am in there. I did the rear a year ago with great success.

Can someone tell me what I need? Looking for a slight upgrade in performance over the stock bushings but not an all out race set up.

    Thanks,

    Chris

    www.elephantracing.com Go with these...

The Daystar bushings that are on the market are well covered on most forums. They can be noisey and can lend to serious suspension problems (check with Dave at TRE for an example).

Chuck's bushings (Elephant) will "not" give a harsh ride and they will probably last as long as the one's that you're now taking off.

Yep- we are quite pleased with the Elephant racing line of bushings. Remember to periodically grease them
All the plastic ones fall under the "Squeakmeister" category! They deform too easily and bind up

Thanks for the link. Are the only bushings I need the ones replaced by the PolyBronz control arm bearing? I thought there were others (on both ends of the front T bars for example.

I have never taken this end of the car apart so don't know what's in there.

    Sorry for the ignorance.

    Thanks in advance.

Chris, you'll need the bushings at each end of the t-bars, the bushings for the through-the-body sway bar, and the bushings for the sway bar drop links.
