    rallye hood decal from Treffen

do you guys know who made or designed the rallye logo that everyone had on their good for the Treffen? I am doing yet another cross country trip (my 4th!) to solvang for the 912 rendezvous in a few weeks, and need to go in style. If anyone knows who made it, or has a sample of the image used to make it, i would greatly appreciate it. I want to use a similar lay out, but make it all my own and different, especially replacing any R gruppe stuff with 912 registry, and of course change the city to solvang.

    Harry,

A few years ago, I took a repro vintage rallye plate, similar to the Treffen one, to a local franchise Fast Sign store; they could duplicate it perfectly with alterations as needed. They could make it in virtually any material type (light metal, vinyl, magnetic backed, etc.) I wanted. Coincidentally, I was going to make up ones for a 912 event here in Texas. I would think they could do the same from a picture. Amazing what they can do with the help of their computers!
