    1969 911t - Chassis #0028

This is the first of a few special cars from my collection that I must sell to finance some new restorations. I purchased this car from the "original" LA, Californa owner a while ago. His father bought the car new in 1970. As this is such a low production number (made in 1968 but sold in 1970?), and outfitted with so many strange/custom COA verified factory options, we think this might have been a factory executive or show car.

The father died in the late 80's and the son inherited the car. He spent over $42,000.00 in restoration back in 1992. I have stacks of receipts going back decades and also for the work I've done.

The exterior is near flawless. Truely remarkable. It is either mostly original paint, or quite simply one of the best 15 year old resprays I've ever seen. It is not some 2-stage clear coat. There has never been any rust repair or accident damage. All panel gaps are perfect.

The interior has been returned to the factory original leather-to-sample orange. The seats were taken to GAHH and they did the restoration in house along w/ the back seats.

The mechanicals were completely redone to concours level back in '92. Due to one of the webbers being tuned too lean, and run that way too long, one of the pistons was damaged. We tore the motor down and did a complete rebuild and an external detail.

The car is currently outfitted w/ S suspension, brakes, sway bars. 15x6 hart shaped Fuchs. I removed what was left of an aftermarket A/C system. Original books, records, paint touch up stick, California black plate w/ all DOT sticker back to 1970!

This is one of those cars that you just don't see come up for sale, and seem to go quickly. You will not be disappointed. I would like to ask that only serious buyers with offers over $55,000.00 reply to- jpnorthwood@aol.com or phone me @ 561.702.6184

I am located in southern Florida and have a local European associate able to arrange overseas sales.

    Cheers,

    John

    Stunning!

Now THAT is a good looking car! Love that interior. If I had room in the garage.....

    Thanks Daron,

You decide on the extra set of russett seats? That's the only thing my '73 E needs to look as nice as this one.

Here are some old photos of the car up on the racks in my warehouse waiting for the motor to be rebuilt and the orange interior to show up.

Hopefully you will be able to see up at the underside. I have since cleaned and detailed it, but not recoated. NO rust - ever!

I was looking at that last picture for quite a while before I realised my jaw was resting on my chest - what a place! Congratulations John and good luck with the sale, orange 911s are the greatest.

I have listed the car on ebay w/ no reserve, and a minimum $40,000.00 bid. Should be an exceptional buy for the collector of special early 911's. This is a real unusual car w/ real documentation.
