    What are these for?

    What is this zipper for in my head liner?? why is there a TV style cable in windsheild piler?? I tried to on zip this and the zipper just fail apart, so I stopped. The facts: 1967 911S ser# 305809S was on the car before previous owner purchesd in Sept. 16th 1970, was a Munich Germany delivered special order car That is all I know sure. any help? Thanks, Fritz

    Headliner Zipper

    If I remember correctly that is the access to use the hand crank to open/close a failed sunroof opening mechanism. There should be a hand crank as part of the tool kit. Photo/instruction of this is in the Drivers Manual or the Repair Manual.

    The zipper on my '68 is in the rear and goes almost the full lenght of the headliner. Not sure what that one could be used for.

    Thanks guys, My car does not have a sunroof, that cable goes up looks like to it. The P.O. thinks it is a radio stuff of some sort?
