1965 911- in Stone Grey- any other 901's in this colour?

SC Kay was looking for another Stone grey early 911 a long time ago, but he could not find any. A friend of mine is the owner of 302268, this is also a stone grey. Nice extra is that it also is one of the first cars with a factory sunroof, since Porsche apparently started with this in the '66 modelyear. It's not matching numbers. I could ask if it is for sale.

Funny, 302266 had a SR as well (was silver metallic / red int.). 301945 (ex Ron Roland, Irish Green) had a factory SR as well. So may be your friend's car is the eldest stone grey SR 911!

This delightful example was among those in the first full year of production—denoted by the chassis number—and left the factory finished in Stone Grey with a Black leatherette and pepita interior. The only options fitted were the catacolor verglasung and a very unique factory sunroof. This car is known to be one of the very first examples having this factory option!

The car was delivered new in Frankurt and went to the United States later in its life. The car came back to Europe and into Belgium in 1997. The current owner carried out the extensive restoration between 2014 and 2016, sourcing the correct period parts from Porsche specialists across Europe. Today the car is in perfect condition and comes with a certificate of authenticity and Kardex.

Only some 75 kilometres have been covered since the restoration's completion and this beautiful Porsche 911 is presented in commensurately excellent condition. The car comes with Belgian papers but is currently not registered; it also has its spare wheel and toolkit (not shown in pictures). It is a matching number car, eligible for multiple prestigious events.

The lovely and extremely rare color combination and factory sunroof make this SWB 911 the perfect example for your car collection . . .
