    40 IDS value??

    Hi All

Can anyone give me a ballpark for a pair? They are currently installed on a running engine but I think would benefit from a rebuild?

Good 40s that are running but not rebuilt are usually between $1200-$1400 depending on how close to a rebuild they are. I've seen beater cores for $800, but these are typically not worth rebuilding when you can find a better set.

I have to believe the ids are worth more than the ida 40's but have no info to prove my gut feeling

you'd think so, but I've never seen a difference. this may be because folks don't know the difference, but is also likely because the enrichment circuit didn't really work.
