    Hi,

How much are those early 3 prong 7x15 worth? I have 2 dated 10/71 which is very early.

    Thanks

    Hi Alan,

I would say from 300-700€ per wheel, depending of condition. Refurbishment would set you back 150€, up to 190 GBP in two-tone anodizing.
If they would fall into the time frame the RS's were made (around 8/72 to 6/73) may be even a little more. I have seen 2 original RS wheels 5/73 date stamped with an asking price of more than 2000€!!! But those early ones could be a different story as well.

    Alan,

I am not sure what kind of 7" wheel would have a 71 date code, except perhaps a 7R, but this seems late to me. I thought standard sevens didn't appear until the RS in mid-72.

    Hi all,

As far as I know these are the earliest (none 7R) 7s I have seen. I have just been out to check again and both are stamped 10/71. I have also had both of them machined, polished and re-anodised and now just need detailing. Since being anodised 1 wheel has several cracks which have become apparent around the outer petals (see pic) and is therefore not usable, (unless it can be repaired?). It is still a rare rim for the wall art though.

These wheels are for sale but again trying to figure a price for what a pair of 10/71 stamped 7s is worth is not easy as I have never seen any before.
