    WTB : Blue top tint Windshield

    Clear glass with blue top tint band
    Must be free from blemishes

    Just for curiosity, why a 'blue tint' (banded) windshield... is it for a later car?

    EARLY 911's didn't come with them... they came full 'light green tint' or clear...

    If you want a 'blue banded' unblemished windshield, and you don't care about who made it (i.e.. the German manufacture's etched logo) then just call Safelite, or any auto glass replacement company and buy one new for about $110.00/uninstalled......
    But be sure specify that you want an EARLY 911 windshield without the later 911 rear view mirror metal post on it...

    Personally, I consider a windshield as an 'expendable', like tires and break pads... I go through them like hell...
    I feel as long as they're a good optical quality I don't care what they look like, or who makes them. The windshield I have in my car now is a full green tint from China for about $165.00/uninstalled

    I've heard of one of the last NOS German 'clear' windshilds recently selling for well over $1000.00....
