    Jim,
Thanks for bringing the car to the Portland Historics! Sorry we didn't get a chance to meet, I didn't know you were a member.

The Martini livery on a long hood RSR is just one of the most beautiful looks of any 911 ever! I remember Jim's car when it was aubergine, and it was a good car then, but with the Martini colors and the continued evolvement, it is really a great car now. I love the FG winglets augmenting the ducktail just as the factory used at the Targa Florio in 73. Congrats Jim on a very well done car.

Very cool !!! (reminds me of when mine was featured on Victory Lane ) and yes, i still read that article on how much everything weighs Mr. Calzia made of that car when it was purple.

Let's not forget such a car was featured on Excellence (which I still save!)

Thank ya, Thank ya'all vurrry much! Yup, the car is a BLAST to drive; got it up to 7500rpm in 5th at the Portland Historics (approx 140 mph). There was another 800rpm to go, but--I got two leettle problems! Maybe someday

And in case you are interested, Excellence has offered to publish two excerpts from Production to Prototype: The Martini Porsche RSR and the 1973 World Manufacture's Championship by Norbert Singer and me. Both articles are complete; just waiting for Singer to send his final comments. Hopefully both excerpts will be out in the near future. Stay tuned!!
