    FS My just restored 73E

Here is the link to my post just a few days ago.http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ad.php?t=16437 Ive found another car for a winter project. I cant move my photobucket pictures, because it will mess up all my direct links, but the 911 pictures start on page 3, and the restoration pictures go all the way back to the beginning. New German Velour was just installed last month. If you are interested, just give me a call at 270.217.5199 There is so much to discuss about what I have done to this car over the past year, a phone conversation is easiest for me. $40K Thanks-Bill Woods

I saw this car being restored. I've observed Bill since 1995 restore numerous new and old 911's but I have never seen him be so miticulous on a restoration project. There are parts of this car that a person will never see that has new or refurbished original hardware. Its not pebble beach concours but its the best driver restoration I've see in a while. I think Ed Cave can vouch for the car as well.

For full disclosure here is the original link where i was trying to sell it last October, unrestored. I have found the engine builder, and am currently trying to get all service records and work orders from 1980. I will be posting pictures of the interior as soon as I get my new (to me) door pockets installed. See Ya-Bill

Very nice car.....more than i want to spend but its seems worthy. A bit OT ....thats a tii correct?...Inka?.....my first car is 76 at 19 yrs of age. I miss her. How do you get the vc and intake mani like that?..paint or powder coat or?.....Im tracking a 90 325i and want to achieve that look as I go thru the engine.

We powder coated the intake manifold, it turned out really nice. It (the tii) is Colorado Orange, much more like Signal Orange. I think Inca is very nice color. I sold my tii last week, and it looks like my E is going back to Europe. I have my sights set on another 73E, this one Gemini Blue. I really appreciate your comments. If you need any help in powder coating your intake, if you send it to me, I can do it for you. We have our own powder coating system, we can do small stuff like intakes no problem. See Ya-Bill

Congratulations, Bill. I hope you got your asking price because in my opinion (and having inspected the car personally) it was worth every penny you were asking and then some.

Thanks Ed, its going to a very good home. Sort of like selling a puppy. I will make public the new owner upon his OK, most will know him I think.
