Thread: Windshield sources?

    Windshield sources?

Just bought a nice straight 70T with a rebuilt engine that has a crack in the windshield.

Are these generally available or only from specialists?

Thanks. Will post pics when the car arrives on the transporter.

    Ulrich,

Where do you live? Judging by the name, I will say Germany. In the US, you can get replacement windshields at a very reasonable cost from most glass repair shops, but they will have a blue tinted band at top. It's not correct, but unless you have a nearly perfect 911, the cost difference (5x) isn't worth it.
