    yeah - thats me :-)
i have the previous owners name and the one before that, but you cant really search peoples names in the memberlist only their username.

hal h hunt was the first owner in 69
    dont know after that
then the last owners i found are kirk klinkhammer and jorge a. perez

i thought this was a good point to start with the keyfob

    Making the rounds

It was on e-bay some time ago and then Euro collectibles had it and sold it.It is still listed on their site as sold.Nice looking car.My guess is that is was on consignment from Perez to E.C., and it was on his own web-site at one point. Congratulations,You have a very nice 911!

    yeah thats the one.
i was trying to find out though if the previous owners are on this forum though - so i can find their old posts and see what they did when for fun. but i tried searching their names and cant find a suitable username. oh well i can always track and contact jorge direct maybe.in the meantime....
i found a small reciept from 1999 last night and it had an email address on for the 'first' owner!, so i tried it, it cant hurt right?. chances are that it wouldnt work any more or the first owner has passed on maybe.
but he responded this morning and its him! so i've asked for stories and pictures on the car and why he bought it etc etc. he owned it for 30years from new he told me and 'loved every minute of it'. i'll keep you posted.its pretty exciting to find him for me.

    thanks tom.
i feel like a kid on christmas eve right now!
i'll be sure to upload lots of pics when it arrives next week.

sure hope the very first owner 'hal' sends me lots of old shots its gonna be amazing to see it from back in the late 60s and 70s and hear his stories about it. i asked him to send me pictures of him with the car in 69 and if he does, then i was thinking of copying one of the photos and do the same set up with the car now and me - it would maybe bring a smile to him? dont know.
heres the last shot i have before it left on its voyage to me.

and i posted a shot here also (from an image i found of it googling the VIN!)....

wow i just got an email from the first owner. he's still alive and the email address i found from 1999 still worked!
he owned it for 30 years and did his doctor's duties in it daily. he told me a whole load of things about the car and it absolutely fascinating to hear :-)
i'm so happy. everyone should try this!
