    Japan Contacts For 73 Rs

I am visiting Japan next week, including Nagoya Tokyo and Hokkaido.
I will try to trace the history of my Carrera RS #406, which was in Japan from the late 70's to 2005.
I have some great contacts from Kent Moore from his visit last year,
but a few more would be helpful.
I purchased the car last year in Australia from Chris La Rosa, who
purchased it from a Japanese broker Jun Sato, in early 2005
Below is a link to an ad for the car at the time.

After I purchased the car I became aware of the fake car in California
on this forum, and asked Sato for a history of the car.
He now claims he is owed US$5000 tax refund from the organisation
who paid him on behalf of La Rosa, although at the time of the sale, he confirmed he had been paid in full.. I have repeatedly offered him a fee
to provide the history, but he refuses. I have since discovered the owner of the fake car contacted him at the time of the sale, and I believe may have
    threatened him.

When he sold the car to Chris La Rosa,Sato knew there was another car in Germany/California , claiming to be the real RS #406. He failed to disclose this when selling the car- a vital piece of information. This behaviour would be illegal in Australia and probably in Japan.

Even worse, when the other car was being sold in California, he refused to advise details of the new owner in Australia to Fryardds and others who were trying to prove that car was a fake. If he had advised the contact of La Rosa,or told him of the situation, he could have provided information that
would have ensured the other car could have been properly investigated whilst it was for sale.

It seems the whole history of the car is dogged with unsavoury characters.

I would particularly like contact with RS owners in Japan,
as they would be more likely to know the car.

    David,

Besides all the wonderful contacts Kent made...
Looking through some old Japanese Porsche mags I would also look into:

    - G.Y.U. Cars 045-752-5564
    - ACCEL Racing Sport 092-573-5000
    - And... try to look up a guy named Toshiaki Kakazawa

    Hope this helps,

    Cheers mate,
