    Dansk steel fender replacement experience?

My 70T passenger fender is too far gone and noticed that Performance Products is offering a steel fender option instead of fiberglass ($1,179 and $1,369). Is this a good option over trying to source a real fender?

Also I do wish they wouldn't use left and right in the description. Driver and passenger side is so much clearer. I assume left/right is from the driver's perspective.

I've used some of the Dansk body panels on my restoration when I really had no choice and it is not a direct bolt on from my experience. Lots of pounding and tweeking. You will be so much better off with NOS or even used when it comes to fenders and doors. Many rust free examples are available ranging from $100 - $200. E-bay would be a good source or some of the Porsche specific dismantelers. Left is drivers one right is passenger unless you live in the UK. Good luck Allan
