    WTB Carlsen Porsche license plate frame

    Would like to find a Carlsen Porsche San Francisco Dealer license plate frame from the late 60’s-early 70’s.

    My '68 911 was bought new at Carlsen in Jan. '68. Any idea when yours was sold?

    Not to hijack your thread, but I'm looking for a license frame as well.

    I believe mine was purchased from Carlsen in the Fall of '67

    I'd like a pair of frames as well if someone has a dozen of them laying around someplace.

    I don’t mind the hijack as long as I get contacted first.

    I don’t have the Bill of Sale paperwork just the window sticker and the hand/maintenance books.


    From the Maintenance book:

    Delivery inspection on 12-30-67 with 15 miles on the odometer.

    First maintenance stamp 7-7-67 with 128 miles on the odometer

    Last maintenance stamp 1-72 with 31,400 on the odometer

    I just checked my maintenance book and it shows my car had the delivery inspection on 12-27-67. Small world- our cars were probably at Carlsen's at the same time.
