    Dark Metallic Blue on 70T?

Until now I had assumed that the color on my 70T was a non-Porsche color respray, however the car in the pic seems to match my color. Any idea what it may be?

    Matallic Blue on '70T

    Ulrich,

Looks like it could be Metalic Blue, surprise!
    Check Elferhelfer reference - blaumet:

    http://www.elferhelfer.com/farben/farben70-71.htm

At least my guess (even though the ref appears to indicate a '71 color).
    Good Luck !

Pretty sure that Albert Blue was not metallic. It was the original color on my 1970 S

Albert Blue is not metallic - my coupe is that color. My targa is medium blue metallic (factory color) and it looks like that could possibly be it. Why not check the paint code?

Car was originally Red, so the paint code won't help me.

    Original USA Porsche Audi dealership

color brochures for 1970 list: Pastel Blue, Adriatic Blue, Metalic Blue, and Albert Blue...in the order of lightest to darkest color.

However, the freakishly large collection of USA dealership brochures that I have piled up, show only a paint name and color chip...without paint codes.

From what I see, 1970 Metalic Blue is spot on for the first car posted. I need someone here in Phoenix to photograph the brochures properly so that I may share them with the 911Sreg members.

Does anyone down here in the land of triple digit temps wish to assist? Shawn.
